The oldest functional refrigerator

A retired piano teacher in UK purchased a refrigerator in 1952, which has been in continuous use for 58 years, it never needed any repair or replacement of parts except replacing the light bulb, and it’s believed it must be the oldest functional refrigerator in UK.
The 89-year-old owner of the refrg now is residing in the Oxford, when the family lived in Malaysia, she bought the refrigerator manufactured by General Electric Company, since then they took it all over the world.
At that time the price of this refrigerator is 1090 of Malaysian currency, equivalent to about £ 135 at the time.
She returned to England in 1959 and shipped the fridge with other items along back to Britain, and then settled in Oxford.
