At July 19 p.m., China, the Three Gorges Dam opened seven sluice tunnels and two drift discharging tunnels to release floodwater. From July 19 to July 20 a.m., Three Gorges Reservoir contained the flood peak of 70,000 cubic meters per second, which is the largest flood since the completion of the Three Gorges Project.
