People who have been to the zoo know it’s unwise to stay too long when driving through the monkeys, because these guys will strip your car bare.
UK, British "Daily Mail" reported that in Wiltshire the staff of Longleat Safari Park recently sent an old Mercedes-Benz car full of goodies to monkeys as a toy, the result was conceivable…
The Park closed 2 years ago for renovating, the monkeys had long time no see of vehicles, and how could they miss the opportunity to have fun! As a result, more than 20 mischievous macaques demolished the car whatever it could be, the luggage trunk, wheel covers, license plate, wind-screen wipers, wing mirrors … but also wore the clothes they got from the trunk.
Longleat Safari Park re-opened, it may be up to 2,000 vehicles a day through the monkey enclosure, vice principal Ian Turner says that giving the scrapped car to monkeys is a great idea, not only do the monkey have a good time, tourists will also be very happy.
