Recently a book as early as the 16th century sold at auction which confirmed people had began the cosmetic surgery several hundred years ago.
This medical book "De Curtorum Chirurgia Per Insitionem" written in Latin issued in 1579, the authors are the professors and surgeons of University of Bologna. It mainly describes how to restore people’s face disfigured in the war.
It describes a nasal surgery in the book with detailed pictures and charts.
This precious old book was brought by a modern surgeon at an auction priced at £ 11,000.

Quite nice post. I am amazed to see that people had started the plastic surgery in the 16th century and today we consider ourselves as the inventor of plastic surgery. Thanks for sharing this information with us.
