Hungary is the only country in the world that annual recycles wear banknotes which is used as fuel.

Hungary recycles $ 1 billion worth of wear and tear notes per year, about twenty or thirty tons in weight, and then the banknotes are crushed and pressed into brick-shaped, the banknote brick will be sent to the boiler room of the shelters, hospitals and other charitable organizations as heating fuel, this can help them save a third on heating bills.

In the majority opinion, it’s a good way, but some people query that chemical composition of the burning notes may cause environment pollution.
