June 8, 2011, London Olympic Organizing Committee announced the images of 2012 London Olympic & Paralympic Games’ torch. July 6, 2005, at the 117th meeting of the International Olympic Committee held in Singapore, the International Olympic Committee announced that London would host the thirtieth Summer Olympics; this is the third time that London hosts the Summer Olympics. May 2011, London had announced its torch plans.
