The rare book "Birds of America" is exhibiting at Christie’s in New York, which will be on April 20 proceeding with an auction in New York. "Birds of America" was created by the American ornithologist, artist and naturalist John James Audubon in 1827, in which he vividly depicted over 400 species of birds living in the United States and the pictures of birds are equal in size to the real. "Birds of America" had been hailed as the 19th century’s greatest and most influential writings, "The Origin of Species", Charles Robert Darwin’s masterpiece, quoted it many times. There’re only 119 in existence. December 7, 2010, at an auction in London, this book was fetched a high price of nearly £ 7,321,300 and became the world’s most expensive book.
