British photographer Warren Baverstock spent nine days to capture these astonishing photos that mantas (also known as Devil Rays) were gathering to feed in Maldives. In the photos, these spectacular creatures of the deep were swimming like giant bats and gathered together to enjoy plankton. At that time, up to 200 manta rays were gathering in the Hanifaru Bay, Maldives, the area of which is as small as a football pitch. In addition to feeding, they also enjoyed a service of parasites cleaning offered by smaller fish.

June 20, at Kapiti Coast in New Zealand. Recently, New Zealander Christine Wilton was walking the dog on the beach south of Wellington, seeing a guest about 2 feet (0.7 meters) high who should not be there – an Emperor Penguin from Antarctica, he’s then wandering around the beach. It’s estimated that this only 10 months young penguin may be get lost in the Antarctica, all the way north after long journey of thousands miles, then arriving at New Zealand in muddle-headed state. It’s the first that a Penguin is found in New Zealand’s wild environment in 44 years.
This confused Emperor Penguin who is only 10 months old perhaps set "drifting record” of their race.

In the morning of June 19, 2011, China’s Zhejiang Province, there’s a shocking big hole in the road, which is about 30 meters in depth, 20 meters in length and 15 meters in width. Due to recently heavy rains, subgrade is loose and drains are damaged, so the roadbed is seriously undermined by the water. From early morning the road has begun to collapse, while still shows a trend of further expansion. Given such a situation, the local highway authorities immediately put security warning signs there to alert passing vehicles and pedestrians, and call the maintaining excavators to prevent the undermining again. Currently, the right side of the road is closed, only the left for pass.

Mr. Kent (left) and his friend Sean Gillham, and a Thailand’s fishing guide were raising this Mekong catfish of 7 feet (2.1 meters) in length and 114 kg in weight.
A former military officer of British Royal Navy with a small piece of sweet corn as bait fished a huge "monster in water" about 114 kg in Thailand.
David Kent, 54, when he and his wife were on their vacation in Thailand, he had a whim and used a small piece of sweet corn in a nearby lake to try his luck.
He spent almost a day at the lake but got nothing, just as he wanted to give up, something took the hook and this "thing" he should never forget!
After almost 1 hour of fighting, Mr. Kent finally pulled this ‘monster’ ashore – a giant Mekong catfish. They weighted this large fish immediately: 260 pounds! This is a new world record!
Mrs. Kent, 51, missed the fantastic experience, she was then sunbathing outside the hotel they lived.

Slovenia’s Podvrh, 1 month ago, a little brown bear only 3 months alone broke into Logar’s backyard, the family adopted this cute guy and named it Medo, that means ‘bear’ in Slovenian. Little Medo and the family, especially the pet dog became good friends. The family of Logar is applying to the government for consent that they can build a paddock in the yard to care for Medo, but the Slovenian environmental and animal organizations’ expert said that Medo should be sent to the place for keeping wild animals. They said that although the little brown bear is now very cute, as it grows, condition may be beyond the control. Currently little Medo has become the focus in the town, on Facebook, Medo has more than 550 fans.

Perhaps you can hardly believe that these incredibly grand photos of galaxy are from an amateur photographer, and he’s been taking photos for only 3 years. Bret Webster, 51, in the National Parks, Utah in United States, by using a simple digital camera and a tripod that his wife gave him, he captured these excellent pictures that can be compared with the professional photos of Hubble Space Telescope. In addition, he doesn’t have any better advanced photographic equipment.
