If you have an inveterate impression of crowded Indian trains, the following train called ‘Palace On Wheels’ in India will change your mind. It has been rated as one of the world’s ten most luxurious trains, of course, which wasn’t for the ordinary people of India in the past, but Dukes and Governor-General of India as mobile palace in colonial days. This unique train journey began in 1982; it has 12 luxurious suites, no air conditioning however. Up to then, in 1992, this royal train was not only equipped with air-conditioning equipment, also was listed in the attractions of World Heritages. The eight-day seven-night Royal journey is definitely not cheap, the most expensive luxury suite takes $ 7,160, the cost includes accommodation, meals & drinks, sightseeing tickets and butler services, etc.
